Well-
I have been researching the lap band surgical procedure for close to 4 yrs now, and I am scheduled to have the lap band installed on Monday, June 25, 2012.
Orginally the procedure was to be done sometime in October of this year. My husband's insurance approved the surgery and I was contacted on Thursday, May 31st, 2012.
I must admit- I am feeling somewhat overwhelmed thinking its really going to happen in less than 3 weeks from now. Feeling nervous that I don't know if I know all that I need to before the surgery. Feeling nervous about the actual procedure turning out fine. Feeling nervous about the after life with the band and learning to work the tool properly in order to lose 80-100 pounds. :) & :(
